A big change of plans for Arches

by Enrollment USA October 27, 2015

The Utah Insurance Department announced today that Arches Health Plan, Utah’s first co-op health plan provider, will be shutting down its operations.

The health plan provider is being placed under receivership, meaning the state of Utah will closely monitor the co-op as it fulfills remaining obligations of its current contracts and existing policies. Arches will not take on any new customers and won’t be allowed on the federal health exchange in 2016.

So what does this mean for thousands of Utahns? Many of them will need to rush out and immediately begin searching for new coverage before the end of the year.

As a Utah-based company, we completely understand how big of a blow this is to many of our neighbors and friends. And we want everyone to know that we’re here to help … with a brand-new way to search, find, compare and enroll in health plans.
